Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Education at the University of Tsukuba and a Visiting Professor of Policy Studies at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He concurrently serves as the President of the CAMCA Academic Consortium and CAMCA Academy, an interregional non-governmental initiative supporting innovative educational projects in ten countries in Central Asia, Mongolia, and the Caucasus (CAMCA region; www.camca.academy). He previously served as Dean of the School of International Relations, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent (2007-2010). Murod Ismailov's teaching/research interests include (1) educational psychology and technology, including AI in education; (2) human-centered education; (3) English Medium Instruction (EMI) and internationalization of higher education; (4) transformative education and development in the CAMCA and Asia-Pacific regions. His research appeared in prominent journals, including Computers & Education, Interactive Learning Environments, Computers & Education Open, International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education, Educational Psychology, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, E-Learning and Digital Media, Frontiers in Psychology, The Proceedings of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and other peer-reviewed periodicals. He is a co-author of Social Capital Construction in Central Asia (Palgrave MacMillan, NY, 2017). Murod Ismailov is a member of the Editorial Board of Interactive Learning Environments (an SSCI/Scopus journal; IF5.4) and a peer-reviewer for over 20 journals in the field of education, technology, and society.
